Surprise Surprise!

ARIZONA here we come!
Bristol and I surprised my family, we drove down to AZ with Kathleen and didn't tell a soul! We just showed up on their doorstep!

Briss Briss & her Grandma Swanson! Boy was She excited to see her long lost grand baby! Mom was actually gone the night we got in, she was at Bunko. My dad and sisters kept trying to persuade her to get her home without letting her know the big surprise...so we went to sleep and she finally came home around 11pm! So she saw us in the morning!

Out to dinner at Red Robin with the family!! Oh how i've missed them! SO here is the BIG SURPRISE story! So we got into town Friday night and I went straight to their house. I knocked on the door....and no one answered. I thought I was going to be stranded in the heat on the porch. I check to see if the door is open, to my luck it was! I start to walk in and I hear Sunni & Ashton laughing so I quickly hide outside and ring the doorbell. Sunni, Ashton and Brecken came and answered the door!! We were all freaking out! They were so shocked! But we had a slight problem...Dad & Skyler were gone to Chase's Baseball practice...So now what! We took Skyler's car down to Hawthorn Baseball Field. Bristol and I walked right in front of Dad and Skyler and just stood there. It took them 10 seconds to process that it was really me and Briss Briss! They were so shocked and excited!!! It was so good to finally see my family.
I LOVE SURPRISES!

Briss and her 2 uncles! Skyler & Chase!

I love summertime because i'm not glowing white, I'm actually somewhat tan!

Skyler loves his little Bristol! He had lots of fun holding her, he even got her to fall asleep in his arms one night!

Oh that face! It never gets old!!! We love her to pieces :)

Take a guess at what she is watching.........

..........BABY EINSTEIN!!!! Her favorite show, the ONLY thing she'll watch!

Oh my sweet little girl, she loves cuddling her dolly! I love sneaking in and peeking on her when she is sleeping! She is so adorable I LOVE sleeping pictures, they are priceless!

The Birthday Girl!
We sure do love Adelle! She moved up here to Denver after she graduated High School to live with us, because we are cooler than Avery & Kathleen. Actually it's really probably because it's waaaay too hot in AZ in the summer time. But anywho, she is the newest addition to our home and we love having her here, she makes us feel young again haha! And she is also our built in babysitter, we just get her fruit-roll ups and that does the trick! She is so helpful. We love her to death and will cherish the memories we've made together in Denver.

PS Adelle's not living with us anymore... we kicked her out at the end of July while my sisters were here visiting for 2 weeks. But she ended up staying with Avery, Kathleen and Ethan in their apartment. They are in apartment building 14 and were in 7. I love that They are up here. I am such a family girl, so its exciting that I get to see them whenever I want. We still get to have sunday dinners with the Sellards! I can't believe I have only been in the family for 2 1/2 years, it feels like it's been forever! I sure do love every single one of them...Avery, Kathleen, Adelle, Ethan, Sarah & Blake, Shaun, Leah, Ryker, Millie & baby #3 Erkmel....and I even LOVE ABE! I wish Everyone could be up here in Colorado with us, my family too. They would all love it here...in the summer time at least! ;)

Adelles Birthday Bash!
The Rocky Mountain Insulation guys wouldn't miss it for the world!!! I believe they all at one time had secret crushes on her.....well some not so secret! Haha. When they found out Abe's "little sister" was coming up to live with us they quickly wanted to become close friends with us...especially after they heard she was a prettier version of Abe! The day she got here almost EVERY single one of the guys from the company found an excuse to come over! (In the picture Johnny, Chaz, Brock, Shantay, Adelle, Kathleen, Abe and Ethan!)

Still catching up on the month of July!

OUR ANGEL BABY WHO NEVER MADE IT TO EARTH....

Well we found out on July 5th that we had a little surprise growing in my tummy, yup another baby! But unfortunately it just wasn't right, i miscarried when i was about 7 weeks along. When we first found out about baby #2 we were a little surprised, it wasn't exactly in our plans to have them that close together. But non the less we were very very excited! I would have been due, March 13...just 3 days after my birthday. Bristol and the baby would have only been 15 months apart!! We don't waste time around here haha! We were excitedfor our new little addition. But we know that it just wasn't the right time. Miscarriages are definitely a lot harder on the woman. From the second you know there is a baby being created and formed inside of your tummy you immediately are filled with something that is indescribable. There is so much excitement, love and joy. No longer than a minute passes by that you don't think about your unborn child. Anticipating hearing your babies first cry and the thought of what he will look like. I knew i'd be getting sick any day because I had finally hit that seventh week but instead of getting nauseous I had a little something else, spotting! It started Wednesday afternoon. I tried not to think much about it...I know lots of woman who spot through their whole pregnancies. But i began cramping shortly after. The cramping continued and got worse as the hours passed. I went to bed with a heating-pad over my tummy hoping the cramps would disappear. The next morning I woke up and found more than just "spotting". I walked around the house cleaning, little did I know that within the next hour I would be in severe pain with cramping very similar to contractions and unexplainable amounts of blood pouring from my body. I remember the pain and sadness I felt in my heart, knowing that I was passing my little baby. Now it's hard for those of you who have never conceived or for that matter, miscarried
before to understand the full effect this has on your body and especially emotionally. This was my first miscarriage. Before that point I had never fully understood how hard it is on a woman to go through this process. Yes, my baby was ONLY as tiny as a poppy-seed. But let me tell you, that doesn't change anything! It's still extremely hard. You want nothing but to still be pregnant with your baby growing inside of you. My heart goes out to those who have ever miscarried and or lost a child, especially those who have been much farther along than I was. For those that have given birth to a still-born or lost a sweet child at any age. I can't fathom the pain of losing Bristol now that I have held her, kissed her, played with her, taken care of her and rocked her. My life would never be the same if she left me. She's my sweet little girl. I can't imagine life without her. I am grateful that mine and Abe's life has been greatly blessed with our precious Daughter of God. She brings so much joy into our home! We know that this miscarriage has been a learning experience for us. We know we will have more children someday and look forward to that special moment when we will hear our future babies first cries.

Dear Angel Baby,
I never got to hear your first cry.
I never saw your beautiful eyes.
I never touched your soft skin.
I never saw your cute little grin.
I never saw your feet kick.
I never got to hold you and rock you when you were sick.
But you are my unborn Angel...
And you will forever be missed.
Until we meet again Love,
Mommy

Did they really graduate???

Yup! They did it!!!

He doesn't believe it himself!

Finally graduated from Mesa Community College at age 25, with 3 Degrees! Good work Abe, so proud of you! Now its off to BYU Idaho...then P.A. School. Almost done!

Look who else Graduated this year (2010) Adelle GISTELLE Sellards. Adelle doesn't really have a middle name. She is jealous of all those that do so she decided to make one up. She was certain to get her new middle name, Gistelle on her Seminary Diploma! She did conquered that! Too funny Delly Boo :)

Adelle & Shaney the Graduates from Highland High
Congrats Adelle! We are so proud of you for graduating, we knew you could do it!!

The Colorado Crew!

Denver Summertime 2010
Johnathan Parmalee, Brock Chambers, Abe, Adelle & Shantay.
I seriously make dinner EVERY single night, minus Saturday for these guys!!

Uhhh.... thats all I have to say!

Strike a pose!

Awwwww sooo cuddly & cute! Abe and his Sodas! Haha

Baby proofing- What a week!!

Bristol LOVES Adelle...Or should i say Adelles necklaces! When Delly Boo comes to babysit she always always has a tasty necklace for Bristol to eat. I guess that makes Adelle her favorite auntie! Leah, Sarah, Ashton and Sunni you've got some competition, you better step it up! Thanks for all you do Adelle, we love ya!

Wow what a project...the BEFORE picture.....

....And the AFTER picture!!! Yay, it's finally done. This is what Abe and I have been busy working on allllll week! This will not be used as a bed room dresser just yet. It will be used as our new TV stand while we are living here in Colorado. Before we moved here to Denver, Abe took all of our furniture and decorations to Rexburg, Idaho and put it in storage (our company furnishes our apartments). We have a big entertainment center waiting for us in storage. We do not have a dresser though, we've never had one. So instead of looking for a new/more sturdy/baby-proof TV stand than the one we have now here in Denver, we decided to find a dresser off of craigslist and fix it up so we can have a dresser when we move to Rexburg! Smart thinking, I know! So we got this Victorian style dresser for like 60 bucks (a little over priced but oh well-we were in a hurry and it was all we could find). So we spent all week sanding it down and painting it! I was so proud of us. :)

Ok so I though i was being good and smart about putting down a tarp before I started spray painting, haha! Well at least the cement didn't get completely covered! :)

This was our other project...finding a way to trap Bristol in the living room without any escape routes! It's successful for now until she learns how to climb over our little door/box trap! She stands at that peek-way and pounds on it to get our attention!

Oh too cute! Adelle, Briss and her Gamaw!

Just us girls!

Finally the week is over! Off to church we go!!

Briss Briss almost blends in with the tree! Haha

Look at her go!

She does it better than other babies!

So i walk into my living room July 8th and look who is on her knees! Bristol, 6 1/2 Months old...She'll was full-on crawling 4 days later!!

Me and my little friend!

Abe, Kathleen, Avery, Ethan and I sat in the living room for over an hour trying to get Briss to crawl by persuading her with our cell phones! She would move her left hand forward and then her knee but she wasn't getting there fast enough so she would just dive for our phones instead! She found out that diving got her where she wanted to be a lot quicker then trying to figure out the whole crawling thing!

We kept pushing for her to crawl, we were all so excited for her to take this big step in her life! Now that she is crawling all over the place we had to baby proof our house BIG TIME! I was in the kitchen one morning making her a bottle and she was in the living room. Well she kinda started whining on and off, I couldn't see her so i figured she was behind the couch. I made my way to the living room and Bristol was no where! I was so confused, she was still pretty new to crawling so i knew she couldn't have gotten too far. I then hear her whining again...I turn behind me and guess where she was?? She had crawled under the kitchen table and was stuck between the chair and table leg! At that point I knew we had to figure out a way to baby proof our house and we had to do it fast, cause she was constantly on the go!

Oh daddy is so good at making us laugh with the silly faces he makes!

Her shirt doesn't lie....Bristol Loves her daddy! He plays and plays with her non-stop! I still have to hold him back from waking her up from her naps early because he wants his little doll to come play with him! Bristol is very very lucky to have such a playful loving daddy who would do anything for her!

Catch up time!! Our little fire crackers first 4th of July!

Ok so i've been horrible at Blogging these last couple of months! I better get you all caught up on our busy busy life and the fun memories we've been making!

4th of July!
We had all sorts of parties going on! Abe's mission buddy Elder Downing and his wife had us over for a fun little BBQ party with some other couples and their kidos! Bristol LOVES watching other kids, she laughs at them and wants to be right there in the center of their attention. I forgot my camera, I know...how could I? So we didnt get any cute action shots of her laughing at the other kids. But we did get plenty pictures of Britol on 4th of July in her little sunday dress!

She is too sweet to be a firecracker, look at that face!

Bristol Loves her "Foo Foo"

I love making Bristol bows that are bigger than her head! Surprisingly she doesn't tear them off just yet.

We had a big BBQ 4th of July night! Our apartment was so full of family and friends that we literally couldn't take 3 steps without invading someones personal space! But it was so fun. We had the Sellards over- minus Leah's family, Sarah and Blake. Then we invited some of the guys (Chaz, Johnny, Brock) that are working here in Denver with Abe! Oh and we also had the missionaries over for dinner too! So yes, I wasn't lying when i said our apartment was full to the point of invading peoples personal space! We had a good time though. We played our favorite game ever.... Balderdash! Thanks to Sarah & Blake for introducing it to us! :)
Firework time! We didn't even have to leave our apartment to watch fireworks. They were going off right and left in every direction you looked, so us Sellards all watched from our balcony. It was amazing! Here in Colorado Fireworks are not illegal so literally the whole night sky lit up into one big firework! Then it poured rain the rest of the night, we snuggled up and watched a movie!
The End!
