The snowy season has arrived...even on Abes birthday!

ok I'm a little ticked right now! I put my pictures on my computer and this whole last month my camera was on a smaller setting (darn Abe changed it on me and forgot to change it back, I had no idea!) So frustrating! But at least I still have them they are just a bit fuzzy!

Ok funny story, so we got to Rexburg and the weather was actually amazing...no snow, not freezing at all, just perfect! Abe even said, "I'm thinking about getting a bike to ride to and from campus." I said, "Well what about when it's freezing and snowy?" Abe THOUGHT he could be tough and just deal with the snowy weather. He said, "Lots of people still ride bikes to school here when it's snowing, i'm sure i'll be fine." 4 days later a snow storm hits. It was colder than ever. Abe said,"yeah about that bike...never mind!" Haha. It snowed from the time we woke up until we closed our eyes for bed that night! It NEVER stopped! I was so bumbed, I had planned to get out get some exercise (BYU campus is huge, lots of walking) but no, I quickly learned that snow falling is only fun to look at from the inside of your house for 1 day! I was trapped inside all day, kinda depressing!
This was the morning of our first snowfall here in Rexburg! (November 8th)

Bristol loves the snow! She had snowflakes all over her eyelashes! SO cute :)

This is outside my backdoor around lunch time...It got whiter and whiter as the day went on! Another story... Later that night Abe, Briss and I had to run to the store. On our way there I just kept saying, "this is miserable, I dont know how people enjoy living in this weather, especially with little kids!" Just then Abe put on his brakes to stop at the red light ahead...and what do ya know...it was like and avalanche falling from the top of our car roof completely blocking our view from the road. Snow covered our entire windshield. I freaked out and said, " How do we get the snow off?" Abe laughed and put on the windshield wipers. I will never drive in the snow as long as I live!!!!

Ok I get really bored all day so I decided to try something new with Bristols short boy hair! She wont leave her head bands on anymore so I found a solution! She gets little piggy tails that look like devil horns! Haha!

Look at that little girls face! She's pretending to be sooo sweet....when really she is quite the little sassy-frass these days! If she doesnt get what she wants she throws her head back onto the hardwood floor and starts kicking and screaming like a 2 year old! I cant believe were already going through the terrible twos! It scares me to think what she will be like in a couple years.

The second week in Rexburg, Abe and Bristol got really sick with sinus colds! They both laid around all day. Poor sickies!

Well someone had a birthday... Yup, ABE! He turned 26 on November 11th. He's getting so old, only 4 years away from 30! AHH!
Surprise, surprise...he didnt think I got him a gift! He wanted this book really bad. I had 15 dollars cash when I went to get it thinking it shouldnt be more than that! Well it ended up being 22 dollars! So I had to swipe my debit card, darn it! A couple days later Abe asked..."What did you get at Desert Book?" AH! He almost caught me but I quickly said...Oh I got some rolls from the bakery there!" He totally fell for it, i'm so sneaky!

Ok so i figured it wouldn't be considered bad if I got scratcher tickets as a birthday gift because I would have spent that 10 dollars on something else for him! Well we only won 3 dollars off all of those!

*Birthday Kisses*

We had Chicken Alfredo and garlic bread for dinner (one of Abes favorites) and of course had to pull out the Sparkling Cider! :)

Happy Birthday Abeos, we love you!

Our new life in Idaho...

Well I must say I do miss Denver and most of all Arizona! I'm excited for this new chapter in our lives to start here in Rexburg, ID. I am grateful for Abe's dedication in getting his schooling done at BYU-ID and pursuing a career in the Medical field. He will be a wonderful Physicians Assistant.

The first 2 weeks here in Rexburg were SO hard for me! Abe on the other hand loves it, so does Bristol. I think she just likes that she's not boxed up in the living room anymore. Its free roam for here in our new home! Not to mention she loves the cold weather! She gets a huge smile on her face and laughs every time I take her outside. Yup, COLD SNOWY WEATHER. Thats probably a lot of the reasons why I hate Idaho. There is absolutely nothing to do and no where to go when its 25 degrees and snowing outside. We are pretty much trapped in our house! But I cant lie, it is so fun looking out my windows seeing snow falling...it's like i'm living in a winter wonderland. I'm adjusting to my new life here...i've made a couple of girls friends over the last couple weeks, so that makes life a little more exciting. I'm looking forward to making new friendships and memories here. I know in 2 years when we are done with school, tears will pour from my eyes, I will be sad to say goodbye to this little town and the friends we made here. But for now I try to stay as positive as I can and make the best of my situation!

I'm grateful I get to stay at home with my sweet baby girl...there is no better joy than being a mommy. I'm also grateful for Abe and his hard work. He has a friend Eric Checketts from AZ that is here going to school also. Well Eric just got his General Contractors license, he also has a cleaning company and thats how Abe and Eric know each other. Eric cleaned houses for Ed Patterson (Dean Douglas Homes) where Abe used to be a superintendent in AZ. Well Eric is starting up his own business and Abe has been going out with him almost every day since we have been here trying to get the business up and running! They have had some awesome success in the last week! Eric put a bid in on a remodel and so they are busy tearing out floors today. They also want to clean and do handyman work for apartment units after the tenants lease is up. Another blessing, they got some work from an apartment complex! Apparently Jobs are hard to come by here in Idaho...Abe has applied for many other jobs but so far nothing!! So we are grateful for Erics generosity and that he and Abe are here at the same time motivating each other. Erics wife, Shannon told me that before Abe got here Eric just couldn't get the motivation to get going on this whole business thing but Abe has really motivated Eric and they have made wonderful progress these last few weeks!

I will be posting pictures soon of our latest adventures here in Rexburg! :)

Baby Rigdon!

What an exciting weekend I had at the first of October! I got to meet my new adorable nephew Rigdon! He is so tiny and precious.

I just love my niece and nephews. Millie is a good little helper :)

Here we all are at Bampa Jess & Grandma Anns! Sarah, Adelle, Millie, Me, Briss, Leah and Rigdon :)

Millie gave Bristol her stroller to push around, she loves it!

Ryker and Bristol scanning the kitchen floor for left overs :) Ryker LOVES Briss Briss he chased her around all night!

Gama and Briss Briss :)

All the cousins! SO CUTE. Right after we said, "ok were done taking pictures" Millie threw Bristol off her lap! It was so funny and sad at the same time! Bristol went flying into the middle of the room, poor dolly.

There is Uncle Blake and Auntie Sarah!

And last but not least... Our dearest Bampa Jess & Grandma Ann! We sure do love them! :)

Catching up through October!

What a crazy busy month October was! I got it done in one blog :) (except I'm still waiting on the pictures from our trip down to AZ)

Abe got a new gun! It's the smurffy gun...he painted it black while I was in AZ.

"Spit Happens" A LOT!

So I got to go down to Az at the beginning of October to see my family and my new little nephew Rigdon! I havent done that post just yet! Its next...

Saying goodbye at the airport! SO SAD to leave, I love my family!

Well the flight back was a whole lot easier than the flight to Arizona. I had Ashton, Adelle and Kathleen with me! Bristol was so good on the plane except for the fact that she was getting sick with diarrhea and kept pooping every 30 minutes...the whole plane smelt of it!

Just us girls out on our balcony...its getting chilly in Denver!

Bath time!

Ashton loved giving Bristol baths while she was visiting us for a week!

Ok so I had to post this picture because there is a funny story behind it! We asked Abe to take a picture of the 2 of us and of course he is all about scenery! He was sure to get the beautiful blue sky and hardly any of us! We make fun of him every time we ask him to take a picture now! Silly boy :)

We went to this fabulous Sweet shop in downtown Littleton! It had over 100 jars filled with candy! I was in dreamland!!! The strawberry and raspberry chewies were amazing and so were the carmel filled cookies n cream and cheesecake malt balls! MMM...

So we decided to try those nose strips! Hahah we talked Abe into letting us put one on his nose...he will kill me if he knows I put this picture on my blog! Haha

Pajama Party! Onsies only...
I'm so glad Ashton got to come spend her October break with us in Denver! We had so much fun with her. I felt bad because the first half of the week she was here I got the flu then Abe got it and then Bristol! :( But we still managed to make some really great memories! :) I love my sister Ashton so much, she is such a great friend and the biggest help! Bristol loves her Aunt Ash :)

That water looks SO refreshing! I wanted to jump in, but it was so cold!

We had to take another trip to Breckenridge, this time with ashton and the Sellards...they hadn't been yet! There is this amazing Pizza place called, "Downstairs at Erics" Its so yummy and since Kathleen and Avery are so into finding tasty pizza joints we had to take them there!

Auntie Ash and Briss

Ok so Ashton is OBSESSED with Starbucks! She insisted I take her picture by the sign! She loves their Vanilla Bean shakes!

All of the trees are turning colors! :) SO PRETTY

So I was in Bristols room today going through clothes and Briss was playing in the living room in her cage and then all of a sudden I hear her crawling down the hall, I jump up and sure enough she found out how to climb on top of her box and escape her cage! She gets up on it and bangs on the couch and watches her Baby Einsteins!!

Poor dolly got sick and fell asleep on the floor! She laid there for 20 minutes letting Abe tickle her back! So sad!

Pumpkin carving time!! I love this time of year! Not to mention Halloween night 3 years ago was the night I met Abe! :)

Were a bunch of pumpkin heads!

Bristol is still sick! When she lets you hold and cuddle her thats when you know she is sick! Normally she wants to be on the ground playing and not cuddling! :(

She barfed right after this picture was taken! And it was good timing because I picked up her cup to give her a drink and she barfed right into the cup! Phew...it was a lot too.

Well we were busy traveling on Halloween to our new home in Rexburg, Idaho! So we put her in her little miss piggy costume when we made it to Rexburg and got all settled in! She is so cute!

Where are you going little miss piggy?

Happy late Halloween! :)
Abe and I are scary enough in the morning, so we didnt have to dress up!

Bristol loves her new home here in Rexburg! She loves that she's not caged up anymore, she has free roam all over the bottom floor! The stairs are a different story though! Completely off limits! I caught her on the 4th step going up the other day! I watched her book it up all the way to the top! So I blocked the stairs off with the pack n play. Its working.... for now!

She's just eating her cheerios! Mmm mmm :) Isnt her little ponytail so cute, it sticks straight up! I'm tired of people calling her a boy especially when she wears this blue outfit! So I found a remedy...ponytails :)
