Bristols Birthday Real 1st Birthday!

December 18 was her big day!

My little sweetie pie turned 1...

Of course she got another Balloon, she played with it for days and days. She carried it around with her everywhere.

On her birthday our good friends the Checketts made bristol a beautiful birthday cake and we had a little dinner party for her...

I cant believe I didnt get a picture of Shannon, Eric and Bristol with her cake, dang! We had so much fun...Bristol got a brand new baby doll that has a binki from Ashley, Tyson and Kylie! She loves it :) Thanks so much to the Checketts for helping to make her first birthday special up here in Rexburg!!!

Bristols Birthday Bash in Arizona!

Yup its true... Bristol is already 1 years old, well just about. We celebrated her birthday 3 weeks early while we were in Arizona for Thanksgiving.

We had a big BBQ dinner at my parents house and Abes side of the family came too.

Birthday Girl!

Bristol LOVES balloons anytime we go to the store she spots out the balloons immediately and oooohs and aaaaahs over them! Good thing Grandma Swanson got her this colorful birthday balloon!

I made her a little tutu for her birthday. Surprised she kept it on!

Funny story! Ryker LOVED Bristols new car. He pushed her round and round for over 20 minutes! He said to me on the way home... "Shantay I think Bristol really wants to live with me in my family. Then I could have all of her cool toys and that car she got for her birthday!" Hahaha Oh I love Rykie boy! He is such a good cousin.

It happened to be Uncle Skylers actual real birthday when we celebrated Bristols birthday, so we just combined them! Skyler felt so special to share his day with his little Briss Briss! We of course made him a separate cake. Bristol destroyed her cake in less than 2 minutes!

Last but not least... Bristols famous "foot stomp". She is obsessed with foot stomping things. She does it all the time to her cherrios and whatever else she finds on the ground. Silly Bristol! We love having her in our lives. She brings so much joy, excitement and happiness into our family... What would we do without her!

What a fun Thanksgiving week spent in Arizona!

Off to Arizona we head...

A huge storm hit Rexburg and Salt Lake the day before we were heading down to Arizona! I was certain we were going to get snowed in or the roads would get shut down, I know I know... im optimistic. But I was just preparing myself for the worst! Luckily the snow didnt stop us!

The roads really weren't too too bad until we hit Beaver and Penguitch. We hit some unplowed icy roads, we had to drive like 10 mph behind a snow plow truck for like 30 minutes! Then we ran into a little blizzard. Ahh scary! I didn't even think to take a picture, dang it! But we couldn't see hardly anything.

Bristol did really good the entire way! She is the best little traveler.

Our goal was to make it all the way to Arizona in one drive! We didn't want to stop and stay at a hotel unless we absolutely had to. Rexburg to Mesa is a good 14-15 hour drive depending on the weather. Well we were just out of Page...only 4 more hours to go at 7pm! That means we would have got in at 11pm! Not bad at all eh? Well we came to a dead stop outside of Page. Apparently there was a huge head on collision between a bus and a Mini-van caused by the icy roads! The outcome cant be good for the poor family in the Mini-van. So we sat there for an hour not moving an inch. We decided to turn around and stay the night in Page. With the roads being so icy all the way to Flagstaff I'm glad we decided to wait it out. Abe and I were very excited to have cable TV! We have not had any TV connection for the past month! Bristol was just excited to be out of the car! The bed was very comfy......... We've been on an air mattress for the last month. :(

Oh how we miss all of our family in Arizona. It was so fun to see everyone for a whole week. Abe, Bristol and I got to stay with Leah and Shaun for the week! Shaun was so kind to give up his office room for Bristol and Ryker was overly happy about Abe and I taking over his room...That meant he got to sleep in Millies room!!! Boy did they have fun playing with each other at bedtime! We had so much fun with everyone... I'm kicking myself for not taking more pictures! But at least I took some! :)

We went with Abes side of the family to dinner at this yummy taco place in someones backyard! Holy-cow it was SO SO tasty! After dinner we went to see Temple lights!

So Bristol, my sisters, my mom and I went to Hobby Lobby and usually Bristol stays in the cart the entire time... But her aunties and Grandma wanted to hold and play with her.Well I'm walking down an isle by myself and I hear something big fall over a couple isles down from me... Sure enough it was Bristol getting into everything. My sisters were letting her walk through the store. Bristol was in heaven, she was loving it. So the "mean mommy" made her get back in the cart and stay put! Bristol was having a fit! She wanted to be on the floor with free roam of the store!

We went to the San Tan mall with Leah, Ryker, Millie, Rigdon, Sarah and Gamaw! Every time we walked passes the kids play court Bristol would reach for it...so we let the kidos go have some fun on the cool toys! Bristol loves her cousins, I'm so sad we can't live closer to them right now. Someday!!

We took Bristol into the pet store! Oh boy does she love dogs, Definitely doesn't get that from me! I'm not much of an animal lover! But she on the other hand...LOVES THEM and has since she was 6 months old!

PIZZA MART!

Yummy yummy in my tummy! We went for Pizza with my family one night! Bristol ate 2 whole pizzas! (Bristol, me, Chase and Sunni)

We sure do love all of our family and miss them dearly! These next couple years will fly by and we will be back home before we know it!!!

Thanksgiving in AZ & Family Pictures!

Another Thanksgiving came and went. I don't understand where time is going? I wish it would slow down a little. We got to go down to Arizona for Thanksgiving this year! We were very excited about that. We spent the big feast with my side of the family this year (at aunt Melodys house). It was delicious! We had fun saying hi to everyone we haven't seen in a while. Thanksgiving night we played games with Abes side of the family... Leah, Shaun, Blake, Sarah, Adelle, Ethan and Mama Kathleen! I'm very sad we didn't take one picture. Darn! But it was a very fun night!!! Sarah made a killer cake that was to die for... I think everyone had seconds, I know I did!

Me 18 weeks pregnant with Baby Girl #2

We are best friends and still so in love. We love every second spent with each other. I am so grateful to have Abe as my husband, best friend, father of my children and most importantly my Eternal Companion! He makes me so happy. I can't imagine life without him by my side. I love him very much.

Ok so Bristol LOVES licking her lips... It all started when she got a cold and tasted her snot dripping into her mouth, yuck! So now she walks around the house licking her lips and saying, "lalalalala"
