2010 Christmas Eve and Christmas in Rexburg

Bristol is just like her mama, she loves eating snow!

This was our DELICIOUS Christmas Eve dinner! We went over to the Checketts for a little Christmas Eve dinner party. We had the tastiest Honey Ham that Shannon made, funeral potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, sparkling cider and a tasty home-made pie! It couldnt have been better any other way. We had so much fun...

After dinner we made some ginger bread houses! Look how big that house is...

We were getting so close to being done and the house started collapsing! :(

Our builders, Abe and Eric.... I'm not so sure i'd hire them to build me a house cause it might turn out looking similar to this picture below...

....flat to the ground!

We had a little family home evening on Christ. Then we had a little gift exchange! Ashley and Bristol, Tyson and Kylee!

Bristol Bug and Smilie Kylee! Best friends forever!

Good morning Briss Briss, wake up! Lets go see if Santa came...

Yay Bristol got presents, that must mean she was a good girl this last year!

Even daddy got a couple presents!

Lots of cool toys!

And Abe got some new shirts...not just any kind of shirts though...they are "pearl button" Happy happy boy! :)

Merry Christmas!

Out for a walk on christmas morning!

Dont laugh, i'll explain....
Cinnamon Rolls are a Christmas morning tradition! Usually my wonderful mother-in-law Kathleen makes them but since we spent Christmas a million miles away from arizona this year Abe and I attempted to make them for our big Christmas breakfast over at the Checketts. As you can see this first batch didnt turn out so pretty! Hahaa but boy did they taste yummy!

Theses ones were much much prettier! :)

Her favorite new thing...getting into cupboards!

I feel like i am constantly cleaning up her little messes!

Off to church Sunday morning!

Is she not the cutest thing in the world?!

Hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas season this year! We sure missed our families back home in Arizona but we made some life long good memories here in Rexburg! We've made some awesome friends up here that we consider our family! :)
Merry Christmas everyone!
